Multi-Purpose Snakes
(Cool Breadsticks)

Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Open a refrigerated can of breadstick dough and separate the pieces. Then roll each one between your hands to make it skinny. This is how God made snakes. During this part, she exclaimed, “Hey, this is easy!”

Once the dough looks like a rope, wind it around a pencil (or a skewer, if you have one) (but not a pen, because that will explode in the oven). Flatten out one end. This will be the head.

Make eyes out of pieces of olives (black or green) and cut a tiny piece of pimento or tomato or pepper or something else that’s red into a triangle and stick it on the very end to be the tongue.

Brush with melted butter, then sprinkle your snake with crushed rosemary to make someone remember you. Or with garlic powder to repel vampires. That’s how it’s multi-purpose.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. When cool, remove pencil. Or eat the pencil, if you’re into lead poisoning.
